I have downloaded a movie (mp4) but none of my players(media player,jet audio,winamp......)can read it,i want to convert it into mpg(i want it for my mp4 player so then i should convert it into .svi)or i just wanna watch it but i cant,i've downloaded a codec but i don't know where to add it...please tell me what to do...............................................

http://www.free-codecs.com/ download any of the codec packs and follow the instructions.

Download and install the Klite codec pack full. it will let you play just about any movie format you can think of and install the codecs for you so you don't have to worry about installing it into the correct folder. http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm
