No, there are lots of guys in places like New York, California, and other places that go to up scale hair salons. If that is what you want to do then do it. If you are worried about people thinking you are gay then let them. If you know your not then there isn't a problem.

No it would not. Look at the number of famous men (including "hardcore" rappers, movie stars, sports stars, etc.) thet get things like manicures and pedicures. If you want to spend the money to look yiour best, I am sure that the woman in your life (if there is one) will appreciate the effort.
A haircut alone does not make a person gay. That is a matter of sexual preference.

You will love the mood an upscale salon sets for its client. They really take care of their clients and want them to come back and invest in them again.
They can be pricey though. So do your homework and make sure you and that salon is on the same page as far as style.

No it wouldn't. I used to work at an upscale hair salon and alot of men came in to get their harcut there because everywhere else was not nearly good. With hair the more you pay the better the job is done.

it would not be gay at all. i seen guys get there hair blow dried straight at the salon. and so don't worry because you know that you are not gay and at the end of the day your hair will look fabulous!8).
