I cry on every single sad or emotional scene and I am PROUD of it and so should you. It shows you have a heart and can be compassionate towards people in distress. If you feel the pain of people in a movie, how much more will you with real people. That's a good thing, good girls like that, and never let anyone make fun of who you are. Be PROUD.

It depends why your crying. If your crying because you feel for the caracters and have placed yourself in the film. Or if your relating the issues of the movie with the issues in your life.
If its the first it is very normal to cry, And it shows you like movies and that you like to get into the movie your watching. If the second part is your main reason for crying, then your gonna have to fight some battles in your life which are deeping than crying at the movies.
Either way don't be embarassed. Its Dark and no one can see you. Make sure you give a heads up to whoever your with that tearjerkers get the best of you!

Why do you feel embarrassed? Just because u cry out of strong emotions! Those who don't cry or rather claim to do so are 'liars'. All human beings cry at some point of their lives. Some don't show off (in public) and some like u show it. It is perfectly normal! Rather not to cry is choking. Let your emotions flow, it is quite soothing to cry. Our body is designed in that way, had there been no need to cry we might have lost the phenomenon of crying in our evolutionary cycles. But the fact that we have retained the ability of crying strongly states that it is of some relevance to express our feelings.

It is Human and absolutely NORMAL. Never feel embarrassed. There will be many more in the public who also must be crying on the same scene. It's God's given gift to living being, including ANIMALS. Human is a super animal of all the Animals.

Unlike many people, you haven't become desenstized to compassion and empathy. It's very normal, and be grateful you're in touch with your feelings. I've seen people laugh when watching gore and slasher movies, claiming the effects weren't gruesome enough, and people think that's normal, or don't think anything of it. While these same people would probably judge someone like you as being "too emotional". Don't believe it. Society is so backwards.

There is no normal or abnormal. It's who you are. You're a person who can grasp the concept of a movie and feel involved. There's nothing wrong with that. Cry away and get rid of your embarrassment. To hell what others think.
