I'm wondering because most people did, yet 500 times a day there are people on here with a question like this: I had sex on February 12, 2007 and now my period is late. Am I pregnant? Ok, if you took sex ed. wouldn't you know the answer to your own question? I know that some people are on here with genuine questions about pregnancy, getting pregnant, and taking care of their kids, but what is up with all of the "Am I pregnant?" questions. THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY WE COULD KNOW. 99% of us aren't doctors. Just because you don't have a period does NOT mean you're pregnant. If you have unprotected sex, YOU WILL GET PREGNANT. Maybe not this time, but if you keep on you will. Anyways, so basically my question is how many of you took sex ed.? Thanks for reading my rant!

I don't care how bad and misinformed sex ed. in school is.....I'm pretty sure they covered the part that says SEX=PREGNANCY!

*lol* No the question is "Am I pregnet?" haven't you noticed. And even with we were doctors we would still make the women take a test (urine or blood).

However I do have to say misinformation in Sex Ed isn't that uncommon, even assuming kids are paying attention.

I took sex ed, but my real sex ed came from Sue Johanson on the Sunday Night Sex show (used to be a radio show, now she is on tv). She is awesome and I encourage all teens to watch:

Hmmmm, I can't actually remember if I took sex ed or not. I'm sure it was a blip during health class or something in high school. I have a feeling that all the raging hormones and possible embarrassment about the subject keep a lot of the information from registering at the time.

But I'm with you, on all the "Am I pregnant" questions. Generally for the more absurd ones I'll just shake my magic 8 ball and insert whatever answer it gives me, that's about as accurate as I can get for a stranger on the net.

P.S. I just asked hubby if he had sex ed and he couldn't remember either but figured "it was probably a couple of days during health class"

I took sex ed...in the 7th grade(just the basics like if you have unprotected sex you can become pregnant etc.) and then it continued in the 9th grade.

I too get sick of seeing the "Am I pregnant?" question....I mean come on girls are hard can it really be? I was 18 when I found out I was pregnant with my first and still I knew the only way to tell was to GO AND GET A PEGNANCY TEST!!!! Nobody can tell you if you are pregnant or not on symptoms alone.

This is too funny and I agree. I look at them and don't even bother reading the question. It's like I pass go and don't collect my 200.00 dollars! Who are we on yahoo to know if you're pregnant? Our response should be, did you have sex? I just think it's crazy how they are like that. If they are so concerned don't have unprotected sex. Rant on girl! I feel your pain. Oh yeah... Yes I took sex ed!!!

I did not take sex ed in school
But I was brought up learning to save yourself until your married and that is what I did.
we are trying now though to have a baby. It is fun!
I have not posted an "am I preg.?" question yet. But I know it is too soon to tell. I am anxious to know if I am or not and that is the only reason why i would post one because I want that hope that I may be.

Ha ha ha! I agree. However, I must say that the "Help!!!!!! Am I pregnant??!!??!!" questions are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the annoying questions posted by teenagers.

I find it ridiculous that a question such as, "Do you change your underwear every day?" gets more responses than a sincere question about a real topic. But, such is the nature of this site.

Haha! LM you are SO funny. I agree..I can't believe how truly stupid people are on here...makes me sick to my stomach!!I took sex ed...I still had a lot to learn though and it should be offered more than just once. I was so embarassed to be learning it, I think if it had been more reinforced I would've been better off, even though I never had any problems.
