I had used the data validation function in excel but that is not working anymore. I had re-inputted the validation, but it is still not working on that particular sheet. When I use the same data validation function in another sheet, it is working fine. Would anyone please help? Thanks a lot.

Thanks, Phil, I tired but the new copy only worked for few seconds, then it stopped working again.

Try copying the entire sheet onto a new sheet, then delete the old.

In some area of your worksheet write down the values you'll settle for, enable's say E2 F2 • From documents Menu, go with Validation • go with "putting" tab • below the enable drop down menu, go with "record" • below source: pass and decide the cells with the enable values • go with enter Message in case you pick for instance a message to ask for documents • go with blunders Alert tab to provide the blunders message to show • click ok try diverse recommendations.
