If God is kind and merciful why does he want atheists to go to hell? An atheist do not believe in God because there is no evidence for God's existence and science has shown that there is no need for a God to exist. It will be difficult for people who thinks skeptically, analytically and logically to believe in a God. If God wants everyone to believe in him wouldn't he have revealed himself? I consider all living organisms to be the evidence for evolution and abiogenesis and Universe the evidence for Big bang and not a creater. God has made no attempt to reveal himself. If he wants people to believe blindly why did he give them the ability to think skeptically, analytically and logically?

Why does it matter to them if they do not believe in God or Hell?

They can believe if they want to.

There is evidence.

The Bible says that man and dinosaurs lived together (most atheists do not believe that) and there are places around the world where there are human and dinosaur footprints together in the same rock.

There are man made objects that have been found in coal seams and other rock layers. This is because of the flood.

People get healed of every disease and injury. I know some one who prayed for a boy who had just broken his leg. He was in the hospital and just had an x-ray taken. The doctor did not want to let the boy go, and he finally ordered another x-ray to prove to them the boys injury. The 2nd x-ray showed the leg was totally healed.

A person who does not want to believe will say that the human shaped foot prints are just a dinosaur. Then how come no one has made the anouncement that they have found a dinosaur with human shaped feet, with 10 toes, and knew how to make and wear moccosans!!!!

Those who do not want to believe ignore the artifacts in coal and rocks or say they were left by space aliens.

Those who do not believe in healings (and other gifts from God) will say that they need their heads examined (like what the doctor said about the boy, even though he was holding the x-rays that said the boy had a broken leg and within an hour it was completly healed).

Many people who say that they do not believe in God because they think skeptically, analytically and logically are not being truthful. They just do not want to believe, other wise they would look into these things and not just say "It is not true".

Thank you for this question. The answers get funnier and funnier as they go, building to a height of hilarity with the answer by Tim (which, not surprisingly, doesn't answer the question!).

Since I'm not a Christian, I have no idea how they can justify a kind and loving god who condemns people to hell. Their answer is "it's our choice", but what about people who have never heard of god or jesus? Or as you say, people who cannot find enough evidence (like me)? god makes the rules, right (according to them). So where is the kind and loving part? Their faith blinds them to the reality that there is no kind and loving god, it is all in their own imaginations.

God did no longer make us evil. Adam and Eve did whilst they disobeyed God. in the OT human beings did no longer understand of God they have been worshipping fake gods like cows and cats et. they have been murderers, rapers and inslaved diverse tribes, there replaced into no actual justist, no rules, they did and achieved something they had to a diverse human and have been given away with it so God punished them to unfastened his followers. Then Jesus the NT teaches us that God is a merciful and forgiving God and due to Adam and Eve we are born into sin so being the loving and merciful God he's. He gave his purely begotten son to die on a bypass to forgive us. God can no longer deliver you to hell considering which you smoked a cig or you cuss each and every of the time, He did supply us human beings like Moses, to let us know that he's actual. God says theres a extra desirable place to bypass when you die,so why might all people choose for to return back to satans rule on earth . As for ND they do no longer seem to be possibly lifeless they have been on the fringe of going eighter way.

Who says that atheists go to hell? If it was that bad, wouldn't it be in the Ten Commandments at least?

If God existed, then faced with what I've been asking for all along - proof - I would cease to disbelieve. What would happen to me, as a believer, is highly debatable. If there's a train, it might not matter whether I bought my ticket in advance or on the train, I just might be riding it. Bet Pascal never thought of that.

It is unfair to ask how God can send people to Hell when He's done all He can to stop them from going there! He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die in our place, to suffer instead of us, so we can have a gift of eternal life without having to work for it. He has given us His written word and His church to point the way. If God is the author of all good and people have the free will to follow Him or separate from Him, then it must follow that people will suffer if they don't choose to follow God. In this way it is not a "punishment", but the only option left to God who cannot destroy your sovereign will.

God does not send anyone to hell, as a matter of fact hell was not make for man, it was made for the devil and his demons. Man chooses to go there on his own, by rejecting the Blood of Jesus

God doesn't want anyone to go to hell. He provided a way for people not to go to hell, but there is only one way & that is Jesus Christ. People who refuse to believe send themselves to hell. God will not over-ride your free will. You must choose.

Read the bible, he proved himself over and over again then. Why should he repeat that today? Do you want to have to repeat everything you do on a daily basis to prove you can do it? Silly boy.

If you do not believe in God then how can you go to heaven or hell? Again, Silly

Because he expects people to believe without evidence and if you don't, you go to hell...
