Bouncy, I know you are being funny. However, I sincerely wish you would not make a joke of this serious stuff.
Basically, your point is that if you put some ideas on paper, call the whole a religion, you will get followers. THE UNFORTUNATE TRUTH IS THAT YOU ARE MOSTLY CORRECT, and if you happen to demonstrate some esoteric stuff, even you may be surprised at the size of your follower-ship.
However, you must realize that by and large you are responsible for those you mislead. That is a very serious matter which I know you will want to avoid.

Obviously you have not heard of Imaginary Society.
If you type in Imaginary Society in the search window and hit SEARCH you will be taken to the new religion. And the two great principles are illusion and desire.
