i have a pioneer head unit in my car and when it's in the dash it buzzes and then when i pull it out it stops. could something be grounding it or what??

a wire could be grounded, or the groud itself could be bad. i'd take everything out and rewire it. and make 100% sure there isnt any exposed wire. then i'd put it back in and if you still have it, then cut your ground wire and extend it to a piece of bare metal in the car. that should hopefully get rid of it. otherwise you gonna have to buy a ground loop filter. good luck.

You may want to check the ground wire im may be loose and need to be tightend. Make sure its gronded to the body.
