I seem to always disagree with my work colleague, one day we get on fine, the nxt day she is rude and extremely patronising towards me. I've recently just started also.
There are other times where we flirt continuously, smiling, stare into each others eyes, emails, body language etc....A few weeks back at a works drinks, she said:
I want to trust you-get to know you better....
What happens at work stays at work....
I want us to get on....
I don't do 1 night stands,I only have proper boyfriends....
Then she asked if we're cool???
MEANING???
Another week (at work drink) she just stared at me, I asked her why and she said "I just want to look at you and your funny".The look was all smiles - like checking me out!!!
What she playing at???Advice please...
p.s. there is trouble with her boyfriend of 2 years, as he don't want to commit....colleagues say we have a love/hate thing bwt us.

I would say yeah definitely a love/hate thing. And as for what shes playing at, well come on you know the answer to that one as well the answer to what are YOU playing at. So come on the two of you just get it on. Oh by the way when she said sh doesn't do one stands, shes asking you not to use her for sex. She's into you seriously, the only question really left to answer how do you feel about her?

What your colleagues say is right - there is a love-hate thing btw you. How do you feel about her?
She's obviously interested in you. She also thinks you're interested in her. If you think of her only as a colleague, don't play her games anymore - ie. being patronising when she is or rude when she is. She'll take it that you're playing with her cos you're interested.
I would suggest bringing your girfriend around the office the next time to meet for lunch and introduce her to everyone. Then keep it polite btw you and your colleague from now on, no more playing to her games please. She'll just interpret it wrongly.

She's a teaser who enjoys the attention. She's get what she needs from her boyfriend, and then whatever she doesn't get, she seeks from other (you).
Playing with you like this makes her feel good, "she still has it". But most important it makes her feel that she is above you , she can control you. she can turn it on (the flirting) whenever she wants things her way and then can go back to being formal and professional when it suits her.
If you want my advice, I suggest you act as if you're not interested in her other than as a work colleague. Once she gets the message she'll stop the games. You never know it might make her want you.

She sounds like a nutter, I would keep the relationship professional. She's got a boyfriend that she's not happy with and wants to use you, probably to make him jealous. Whatever the reason I wouldn't go for it. The days where she is rude towards you are probably days when she is feeling guilty about all the flirting she does behind his back.

Sounds like a love/hate thing and it sounds like she teases you a lot but do you tease her back? I think you need to discuss this with her, without the aid of drink, and explain that her behaviour confuses you but make sure you do it gently with 'I would love to be your friend' or 'if we could stay on mutual ground and stick to it..' cause if you upset her too much she may well end up being mean to you and in an office this can cause tension. Good luck. x
