The place where I have started tanning has high pressure beds, medium pressure, and low pressure beds. and I am kind of confused about the UV rays they use and which rays are least harmful for me.

I already know that all tanning beds are harmful...I'm not that dumb. I am simply asking which type of bed is NOT AS BAD as the others for my skin and health. thanks

They are all harmful! Knowing this, I still use them way more than I should. High pressure beds get you darker quicker, so you are getting the equivalent of more than one session in the same amount of time. So one session in a low pressure bed may be equivalent to two sessions in a medium pressure bed, for example. Higher pressure beds are potentially more harmful because they often penetrate a few layers below where a low pressure bed would. Where I tan, the highest pressure bed is $25 a session, and it is required that you do several sessions in a lower pressure bed before hopping in. One for one, a session in a higher pressure bed would be more harmful than a session in a low pressure bed, but as far as overall damage--who knows. Best advice is to ask someone that works at your tanning salon or someone who tans there regularly for advice because there are a million different types of bed. Also, there are usually charts that reccomend how long you tan week for week depending on your skin type written right on the bed. Ask around, read things that are posted, and at least educate yourself before doing more harm than neccesary.

All UV beds are all harmful to some extent. There are tanning salons which use an air brush to spray on a very fine mist which is not harmful at all. Depending on your skin type the spray on tans can look quite natural. Otherwise, just use moderation.

I tan you basically might desire to start up gradually so which you do no longer burn and then look after it via going once or twice a week. i do no longer understand how the different answer suggested they tanned whilst they have been purely 13 simply by fact i'm particularly specific there's a regulation that prohibits all people below 14 from going right into a tanning mattress. every time you're in the sunlight or tanning mattress you may get dermis maximum cancers yet do basically no longer burn your self and positioned on sunscreen once you're in the sunlight for an prolonged time and you will possibly desire to be high quality.
