There's this boy. He's a couple of years older than me, and I'm young enough to make a couple of years quite a big difference. He goes to my school, but I don't know him that well. Yesterday, he followed me around for a bit, and we started hugging, and holding hand, and he said he fancied me. And today he hugs me and stuff like that...
Problem-I like the THOUGHT of him, and miss him when hes not around, but I freeze up and get all shy. Almost like I don't fancy him. I like him...But I've been hurt so many times before, I'm afraid to let him in my heart... Soooo, what should I do? I don't want to walk away from him, but is it the oly thing I can do?

i feel just the same as you do! i'm always afraid of getting hurt. that's why it took me quite a while to start loving my boyfriend, because i was afraid that if i planted my feet too deeply, i could slip and fall and get hurt like all the other girls. i'll give you some advice that my friend gave me. go ahead and like him. everyone is going to be hurt romantically in their life. its just how life is. enjoy him. having a boy in your life should be the happiest of times. good luck!

You need to get in there girl....... Make plans to make HIM feel all lovey dovey inside. Maybe you should get to know him more to feel more comfortable around him, ask some personnal,silly, lovey questions to him. "tell me story about anything or what was it like for you as a kid, or what you do for the summer, then say nah uh, no way, not even" Get what i mean?

you cant be that young if you say you have been hurt lots before so go for it age is just a number i should know my hubby is 9 n half yrs older than me i was only just 17 when we met!!

He is going to take advantage of you. he knows you "fancy" him, and will use that to get in your pants, ruin you, and won't act the way he is around you ever again. Just and FYI.
