At the current rate of religious fanaticism in the Middle East and the alarming growth of religious fanaticism in the U.S., it is a pretty good bet that we are in for a disastrous end. When you put nukes in the hands of religious fanatics, you can pretty much kiss your *** good-bye.

I live in America. The only thing here getting brighter are the fluorescent lights!

It's hard for me to say. I could see it going either way.
Eventually, of course, we'll have to leave this earth....but before then, my hope is that humanity will continue to learn and improve.

Technology?Brighter

Morals?Darker&many times worse.

If our morals go down severly, then it will be hard to enjoy the fruit of better machines.
