bcoz by doing this they want to communicate wid the males that :-
i ve put more than enuph efforts into this relationship and now m not going to continue to put any efforts,
and i want to see that if i stop in the relation, how r u going to handle it and most importantly "handle me".
i want to see how much u r interested in me and this relation. and from now onwards U r "Kept Under Observation".
and i m going to judge u.
in the future i m going to plan my strategy aginst u on the basis of this judgement.

well im like that too..:| actually i do reason and explain..but only to a certain limit..then i just stop talking. I think thats becz i find no point in going on and on abt it when the person infront of me is not showing any signs of understanding me.

Ha, I am that way. I dont exactly like to talk any further into the problem. So I sort of stop talking. It might be because they dont know what exactly to say or are just givin' you the ST.

Hey! It actually depends upon situation.
If they "think" that they are right; then they argue, quarrel, discuss, ask for explanation, do every bit to prove their point.
Else, they just stop talking.

Some woman can be very arguementative,so if they just shut up-there will be no problems.Don't take offense to it-we just don't want to say the wrong thing at the wrong time.
