I am buying a boy and girl Japanese chins and I need really unique names for them. My friend Ana wants me to name the girl Hanahime and my sister wants me to name them Kai and GoGo respectively. Any other ideas???? THANKS!

Chins are the best! Before I got my little girl, everyone would tell me that I'd want another one when I got this one. Boy were they right! I've had my pup a month now and I'm already wanting a second one! They are the best! As far as names, I found this great little website using yahoo. Type in Japanese Chin, names and it should come up with a breeders website. I can't remember it off the top of my head. I did meet a little Japanese Chin that's name was Tokyo. I thought that was precious! I ended up naming mine Maggie. She is a little white and lemon Japanese Chin. She's over 3 months old now and weight 2lbs 3 ounces, she'll be tiny! There are two weight classes for chins, those 7lbs and under and those over 7lbs. Most are over 7lbs between 10-18lbs. I don't know if you want a larger chin or looking for a smaller one. The small ones are REALL Y hard to find. Good luck with your chin, you wont regret getting one. Just be careful with there eyes and when you go to pick one out, look at their eyes well and make sure they dont have any discharge. They are prone to eye problems!

Japanese people typically give their dogs names like Pochi or Gon. You could give your dogs names like the following:
Female names:
Sakura (cherry blossom)
Hana (flower)
Nene (the name of the woman once believed to be the most beautiful woman in Japan, she was Nobunaga Oda's wife, if I remember correctly)
Male names:
Chikara (strength)
Mamoru (protect)
