i would say "night at the museum"....my 5 year old nephew went to see it with his sister and they liked it.

If you can find Happy Feet out there still that's a good one. My 8 year old loved Night at the Museum, but I don't know if that's too much for your 5 year old. Doesn't seem like too many kid movies out right now. Good luck!

Take them to see Flushed Away, Happy Feet, Open Range, Charlotte's Web, Bridge to Terabithia or Night at the Museum. They would love all of those Im sure. They are all children films and u may also enjoy them.
