how many patients can a GP see in one day?

also what tasks do they do in a day

Depends on the types of patients problems and flow of patients.Some may see 10-15 and some might go upto 100.

It is difficult to know what they do all day. I lived near her North London surgery and whilst she was an OK doctor she had surgery hours 900 to 1100am and 530pm to 700pm [Monday to Friday and Saturday morning] and most of the rest of the time the surgery was closed. Her car was parked outside her house for most of the rest of the time so I do not think she was on house calls?
