Sounds like sinusitis, with some secondary middle ear inflammation, though the lack of mucus seems strange...The trouble swallowing is probably due to swollen lymph nodes. You could try taking some Ibuprofen, or naproxen, with some kind of expectorant such as guaifenesin. Be sure to drink lots of fluids, such as water, milk, orange juice, or gatorade.....also, you might want to see an otorhinolaryngologist; ear infections, if severe enough may result in permanent hearing loss.

I've been having the same problem recently. I don't want to, but it seems the only way to definitely see what's goin' on is to see the doctor. The ENT (ears, nose, throat) doc to be exact. All are related. I have a deviated septum so I might need surgery. Might be different for you. PUSH THE FLUIDS.

Take sudafed for the ear congestion and pain meds for the sore throat. Sounds like you have a cold starting. Drink lots of liquids

I would go to the doctor, it sounds like it may be an upper respiratory infection, you may need some antibiotics.

Go to the doctor, or call him/her. Or google the symptoms
