Be there for her as a friend, but be careful not to make it look like your friendship is fake.

Once the two of you get close than you can ask her out, but again make it a new thought and not a snake in the grass type of act.

Take care,
Troy

Dude, after two years of waiting I think you should move on to something else. See you might be already in the friendship zone, aint no way out of that! Besides if she been with this beau for 2 years chances are she wont want to be with anyone for a while, a long while.

So during the time she was dating someone else you've been waiting in the wings? You should ask her to dinner or a movie. Don't rush into actually dating her on a serious level but approach her in a manner of trying to be a close friend. Then let the friendship develope into whatever the two of you allow.

If you have been acquainted with her for two years, and have developed a relationship of sorts during that time, you should not wait any longer. Let her know that you remain interested, be available to talk with her, talk with her when you have an opportunity to.

I would suggest avoiding being pushy or overly assertive. Let her know that you are interested, ie casually ask her out to lunch or something "friendly" like that verses a full fledged "date" for starters. If she accepts your lunch offer, she will be letting you know of her interest back.

Go for it...what can it hurt? If it's meant to be, it will be....I know a lot of people don't like being alone...so you should speak up and tell her how you feel and how long you have felt this way.....Before she gets with someone else.
I am a women and 2 years of liking her...tell her, that is sweet.

in accordance to the kama sutra of vatsyayana, "the sweetheart's bible" "adult adult males despise females who're rather get"......yet i think of this rule applies whilst the guy who's above the lady in some components of existence jointly with social and monetary prestige. Bc you are able to rather on no account tell if that woman is barely after that prestige. notwithstanding, this rule may be reversed if the lady is above the guy in such prestige except that woman is of above elementary elegance as guy by utilizing nature are attracted to the beauties, no remember if she is wealthy or no longer. for a woman offering for a marriage, i will no longer be bowled over culturally because it rather is what took place interior the existence of our liked prophet (observed). Khadijah being financially above, she had an in-between for this suggestion. yet whilst that suggestion is for a one evening stand, i in my opinion sense uncomfortable on an identical time as quickly as I had encountered this occasion quite a few situations. possibly bc i'm a non secular muslim (i'm hoping).had to make up memories or diplomatic motives purely to disclaim a woman's initiative esp if she have been given the appearance. i do no longer comprehend what different adult adult males or women think of approximately me, as maximum non muslim adult adult males i met may be happy to leap in. finally, i see or heard that those people who jumped in rapidly jumped out as ordinary as a bouncing ball, and be apologetic approximately how plenty a fool they decide for such impulses and ladies who take a guy so rather have little admire for them and can want to do away with him as quickly as obtainable.
