I think that almost everyone who believes goes through cycles. It is not always easy and many times I myself doubt. Ask yourself why you don't want to become an Atheist and maybe you'll be able to figure out why you believe in God in the first place. There will always be times that it will be hard to keep believing, but if you don't want to stop believing then you have to try whatever it is that helps you stay connected to God. For me, it is worship at church and my friends who are also believers. Just remember faith is not about feelings, it is about believing. Feelings fluctuate and are not reliable, which is why you have to hold on during those tough times. I hope I helped

We all go through dry spells and sometimes lose sight of God. The fact that you desire to believe proves that you are simply hungry and thirsty for the Savior. The best way to reconnect with Jesus is to go off by yourself, somewhere quiet, read His word, and cry out to Him, sometimes during my quiet time with Him I put worship music on, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, and as the Lord to let one or two of the songs become my hearts cry, my prayer for the day. Jesus told us that if we seek Him we shall find Him, and guess what it's true!! The more I seek Him, the more I find Him, the more I find Him, the more I love Him. Another good way to get spiritually recharged, is to get plugged into a youth group, college group, or some small group at church. Having other Christians praying for you will also be helpful. P.S. If you like to read check out 'Waking the Dead' by John Eldredge.

God Bless!
I'll be praying for you!!

Get over yourself. Really If your an atheist, I don't think anything is wrong with you. But for most people who think "God is fading" God is just waiting behind that cloud, pausing and waiting for the sun to get out of your eyes. So chill and enjoy the silver lining.

You'll be relieved when you finally drop the superstitions. There is nothing to be afraid of. People will say they will pray for you, and you will realize that their prayers are, as they were all along, worthless. They will quote passages of scripture to you, but you will see that they are just the words of dead old men. They may try to frighten you, but there is nothing to fear. If God was real he couldn't fade. But he does, all the time.

FAITH

Faith by actions;read your Bible, take note of God's commandments, and apply those commandments to your life with the faith and understanding God will honor His promises

Stay away from the darkside!Nothing but evil that direction.

You start by doing what you just did, ask for help.

Now you pray and get people to pray with you. Get involved in a Bible believing church. Talk to a Pastor. Spend time reading God's word.

Blessings on you my sister in Christ.

It's okay. Reality can sting a bit, but you'll get used to it. Drop the brainwashing and let the real world awaken you.

if you truely have believed and seen God how could you turn away? And if you are just playing aaround how could you play like that? Christ loves you, don't you know that by saying that you are hurting him?

Let it fade.

Life is good on the other side.

edit:

Spend some time studying science, history and comparative religion.

Reject those things that make no sense or that there is no evidence to back it up.

Consider the behavior of Christians and ask yourself if they are really moral.

Look honestly at prayer and whether it really works.

Read the Bible and ask yourself if the character god is really moral.

Relax and enjoy the fact that no being is really judging you.
