What, as youth of India can we do to help India develop further and be a better place to live in?

You can start a Youth Club.
The members can do the following programs
1.Adult literacy.
2. Computer Training.
3. Spoken English Classes.
4. Legal Literacy.
5.Awareness of Consitutional Rights.
6. Be a watch dog for corruption.
7. Spread a smile in hospitals by visiting people who have no one.
8. Start a Book Bank. Collect books from affluent children and distribute to those who cannot afford to buy them.
9. Be a coach for some sport for the children who cannot afford a coach but is very good at it.
10. Start a library in the Community Hall of the Locality.

Actually the youth needs a direction and motivation to give a little of their time and knowledge to the underprevilged section of the society.This will help in building Better Communties.

In Tamilnadu the Police stations have formed Youth Clubs along with . some NGOs. In these clubs the Youth is given tution in the evening by Volunteers, and training in skills like printing or carpentry etc. The youth play games like badminton and football in the evening which deters them from doing unwanted activity.

Future India is yours. It depends on how you mould the society.

1. stop agitating and taking stuff to road if you want to protest. Often students resort to violent reactions indulging in destroying public property etc.,
2. Be curteous and disciplined. This is what the current and older generations are missing.
3. stop being too involved with movies and the actors. Our guys are too bad when it comes to their favorite actors. some are ready to give away their lives for them. Remember that they are only doing for their personal benefit. It's foolish rather shameful to become emotional servants to them.
4. Concentrate on studies. Read well and get the concept. don't study to get good marks. If you have knowledge, then your country has that knowledge.
5. Do things in a different way and show it to others. For ex., protest by simply wearning black badges without hurting the public or public property. when you protest, ensure that you gain sympathy by doing social work. For ex., wear black badges and conduct blood donation camps. That willd evelop a lot of faith in what you say in the public.
6. Protest against the politicians. For ex., see the mess in the UP. If they have to conduct elections again, how much public money they will have to spend and who is going to benefit?. Protest this kind of cheap politics.
7. Protest those politicians that trouble public for anything. Protest their bandhs, rasta rokos etc.,. They do no good other than hurting your own people.

and so on.... you can do a lot of things provided you have the williness and commitment.

You be exemplary by your-self by dedicating selfless, honest and sincere services to India. As Mahatma Gandhi told " Never bother about the dirtiness of the town.
