guys always act like jerks when they with there mates and make it out that they are hard and strong and can never fall in love but then they alone they are so sweet and cute why do they act that why with there mates and different with us are they always going to be like this or improve with age.

If he is acting like that now then chances are he is not ready to let his friends know that he is really digging you. His friends already know that he is because he is acting hard and tough in front of them when you are around. Men don't grow up as quick as we do. This will change the way he acts next time you are around him and his friends: Act like you are not as interested in him as he thinks you are and don't be lovey dovey with him either. Just act like you two are just friends, like you already have a bf and you are just kicking it with the fellas. Watch how he starts acting in front of his friends next time you all are together. He will start holding your hand, putting his arm around you just to let his friends know that you two really are a couple. It never fails when you start acting like you two are just friends.

It's a different dynamic when guys are with guys. Men relate to each other differently than women do. Women tend to be more touchy feely and share emotions. Men tend to set boundries and limits of masculinity to show the others that they can stand alone and cannot be pushed around.
Everybody has a soft side, the need for love and to be loved. But showing this side in a group of guys is perceived as weak. As men mature they stand more on their own and can be the same person with you or with others. It's a process of outgrowing insecurity and growing into security. All guys do it to a different degree, but some don't get very far. It's up to you to feel whether or not it's good for you to be with this kind of guy.

It's that weird macho thing so many guys have (but not all). They feel that acting like a tough guy in that way shows their manhood. They think acting sweet and cute is a feminine thing. Some change, some don't. Hopefully yours will.

Some will improve with age but I have found that guys who act like this when they are young continue on like it. There are guys who are great when they are young and they also can continue that way.
Just be careful when looking.

It changes as they get older. When they are young, they feel as if they have to prove something to their peers. One of the classic idiocracies with 'boys', is they will make fun of someone for doing the same thing they do, in order to cover up their short comings. My husband was the same way. He would downplay everything because he didn't want to seem 'whipped' over me. However, time and experience changed all of that and now he's a giant teddy bear and he melts in my hands.

It will improve with age, but not anytime soon. See it this way, he's all hard an **** with his boys, but he is HIM when he's with you. He's real with you, that's what is important. We guy just like to bullshit but in the end it's the woman that matters, keep that in mind you wont get mad anymore.

watch it,not all guys are that way so stop offending us,You girls act different when you are with your friends than your are with your boyfriends/husbands,when you are with your friends you start trashing men but you're so nice when the guy is around,so I wouldn't talk if I were you.

with their mates, they want to look like gentleman, but without them they feel free to flirt. its with all and always. not only guys but gals too. with age it may increase, as they feel young and wanted by doing this!
