You don't. You would respond with jejeje which is equivalent to lol in Spanish. Lol is an English slang term therefore it does not exist.

Well, an intern would be un interno.

I would assume it'd be internamiento, but i'd be worried that the context would more imply internment (camp) more than internship.

interno = internal

The correct word for "internship" is "pasantía" (pasante) at least for Latin America, if in Spain it is "becario"

usually it is refered as "servicio social". Pretty much tha tis the work u have to do, unpaid, to be able to graduate.
