I am seeing flashing lights and millions of tiny tiny colorful dots everywhere- these are not floaters though I see those everywhere too. I have this for as long as I can remember- though they do not move in any sort of recognizable pattern and cover every surface I look upon. Say, if I look at my bed the outline of it is teeming with tons of dots that blur the outlines of it and move around constantly. When I look at the words on a page, the black letters are rimmed with moving dots that makes the letters appear to be rimmed with rainbows. This is a long term problem that is really frustrating me to no end as it is so prominent in absolutely everything- even people's faces. It is bothering me badly and is getting much worse very quickly. When I shut my eyes it is still there- still in no pattern but I can watch it and be vaguely entertained.i use to see some swimming lines before but few days ago i notice that i am seeing more when i see a plain surface plus some white spots Does Anyo

Hey, you could have any number of eye problems, including retinal detachement. have you been to the doctor yet? i recommend it. retinal detachment is a VERY serious problem, that if caught too late, WILL cause complete blindness! go to the doctor/optomotrist/opthamologist NOW. you only have one set of eyes, and your problem seems to be causing you so much agony, it can only get worse unless you do something about it. Good luck
p.s. you may have a problem in you brain, also. your eyes may be fine, but there may be a problem in the visual areas of the brain that process the information our eyes give to us. Perhaps you may need to see a neurologist?
Good luck
