I paid $30 at Webster Hall, in New York in 2003, what a rip off!

My friend, Chris, paid £3.50 for a JD in 2001(without coke) and then tried to drive home...
...he hit a police car in Leicester, England, and was fined £300.00 (around $550) and disqualified from driving for one year.

That's pretty expensive (and stupid)

Cheers,

Hi Sunny,
Well, you were well & truly ripped off at $30. I would not of paid it.
They tried to charge me £5 in the Connaught Rooms in London, for the same item, so I swigged it and walked away. Cheecky b*ggers. All was well !
Heck, a litre bottle of the stuff is about £15 - $30, and you get about 40 shots to a bottle.
Jee whizz ! Work it out.

Next in NY, I shall avoid Webster Hall, so thanks for the advice.

Cheers,
Bob

I just bought a bottle of Jack for $29 and a 2 litre of coke for .99 cents. I hope they gave you a strong pour.
