Star wars and the Bible?

Judges 5:20

20 From the heavens the stars fought,
from their courses they fought against Sisera.

How are stars able to fight armies? Would not the whole earth be burnt up in the process.?

The cross reference in my Bible says that that was large hail stones that the Lord hurled from Heaven.
