I am traveling with my mother, my daughter, and my son for spring break to Sarasota Florida. I am searching for a direct flight. Do you know of any airlines that travel between Pittsburgh and the following and offer direct flights? Sarasota, Tampa, Fort Myers, Naples or St. Pete? I would research this myself but my 1 year old doesn't allow it.
Thank you so much!!! and Happy Traveling!!!

There are 3 destinations from your 5 choices that has non-stop flights from Pittsburgh Int'l Airport (PIT). Unfortunately, there are no non-stop flights to Sarasota (SRQ) and Naples (APF) from PIT.

[Pittsburgh - Tampa]
Two airlines offers 3 daily non-stop flights from PIT to Tampa Int'l Airport (TPA). Southwest Airlines offers 1 and US Airways offers 2.

Southwest flight WN2605 departs PIT at 6:25am and arrives in TPA at 8:50am. It a 2 hours and 25 minutes flight.

US Airways flight US1572 departs PIT at 11:30am and arrives in TPA at 1:52pm with a flight time of 2 hours & 22 minutes.

US Airways flight US869 departs PIT at 6:15pm and arrives in TPA at 8:37pm with a flight time of 2:22.

[Pittsburg - St. Petersburg]
USA 3000 Airlines offers a non-stop flight to St. Petersburg-Clearwater Int'l airport (PIE) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

USA 3000 flight (U5)960 leaves PIT at 4:50pm and arrives in PIE at 7:15pm.

[Pittsburgh - Ft. Myers]
Two airlines flies to Ft. Myers - Southwest Florida Int'l airport (RSW). US Airways offers 1 daily flight while USA 3000 offers Monday, Tuesday and Thursday flight.

US Airways flight US1959 leaves PIT at 8:45am and arrives in RSW at 11:13am after a 2 hours and 28 minute flight.

USA 3000 (Monday) flight (U5) 935 departs PIT at 9:45 am and arrives in RSW at 12:20.

USA 3000 (Tuesday & Thursday) flight (U5) 954 departs PIT at 4:00pm and arrives in RSW at 6:35 pm. The flight time for both flight 954 & 935 is 2 hours and 35 minutes.

The actual flight time will depend on the winds, speed of the aircraft and the actual route the aircraft flies.

I hope this helps and enjoy your spring break.

USA3000 is an airline that will provide direct service between Pittsburgh and St. Pete, as well as Pittsburgh and Ft. Myers.

I've never flown them, but they've been in business for several years, and some friends of mine have flown them from St. Pete to St. Louis before and said it wasn't any different than any other airline.

And, of course, there's the obvious: US Airways flies nonstop a couple of times a day from PIT to several West Coast of Florida cities.

There are no direct flights from Pittsburgh to Sarasota (my parents are flying there next week). However, as suggested by someone above me, USA 3000 is a good airline. Flew that to Florida last year. Direct flight, no problems at all.

St Petersburg has a thing that gets below your skin layer and if you wish to discover what it's then, you need to have a search with hotelbye . Nevsky Prospect is St Petersburg's main avenue and one of the best-known roads in Russia. Cutting through the historic centre of the city, it works from the Admiralty, symbol of Russian energy, to the Alexander Nevsky Monastery and it is likely to be very wonderful to walk along this road in the evening when all illuminations on. Here, you will see everything: probably the most beautiful structure, the wonderful palaces, the world-famous museums and the shining five-star hotels. One of many areas must see from St. Petersburg is State Hermitage Museum. The key architectural ensemble of the Hermitage is located in the middle of St Petersburg and consists in: Winter Palace, after the former state home of the Russian emperors, structures of the Small, Old (Great) and New Hermitages, the Hermitage Theatre and the Auxiliary House.

USAirways flies nonstop from Pittsburgh to Tampa.

Also direct doesn't mean the same as nonstop... direct means you're on the same plane and same flight number, but the plane makes a stop somewhere.
