I haven't been to an Ash Wednesday service for many years. I've just got back into the habit of attending Sunday mass. However, I always make a Lenten promise and this year it will be giving up smoking which I hope I will carry on after Easter. That should raise a tidy sum for the Lenten alms.

I wonder whether or not, you would be as ignorant and ask disrespectful
questions about Eid or Diwali, At least the Roman Catholics will be walking
around in a state of grace tomorrow, and not in a state of s**t like you.
Plus the fact Roman Catholics do not go around accusing inciting hatred like
some people do. You would do well to remember that before you start trying to take the p**s.

Me definitely...actually twice. I go to the noon mass and then to the evening mass with my kids.
It's not dirt it's the ashes of the blessed palms from Palm Sunday. The ashes are used because they are a sign of repentence and they remind of us our mortality.

Probably, I'm doing my spring cleaning so you know how that goes. However, it has nothing to do with religion.
