The blogbaba is a Christian, who serves the Most High God, owes his salvation to Jesus Christ and owes any understanding of stuff like that to the Holy Spirit of that Trinity. Spoken as a true servant of Christ, I have to tell you those people never made sense to me, and no I do not think it is normal, at least by the standards I set for myself based on how I interpret God's word. I don't think homosexuality or murdering someone who won't convert to your belief system is normal either. In fact there are a lot of things that I simply disagree with. Such is life, few if anybody even asks what I think, so I'm flattered and honored to answer your question.
I have always thought people talking gibberish were mentally unstable. Still do, I find such behavior unsettling and embarrassing. I see not purpose in humiliating yourself and claiming it somehow honors God.

Speaking in tongues is a gift of God the Holy Spirit. Speaking in tongues is beautiful - I don't have that gift myself, but I find it exciting and moving to hear others do so. The Roman Catholic Church has what are called "Charismatic" groups who speak in tongues also.

Pentecostal churches speak in tongues. How normal it is, I really don't know.
1 Cor 14:2 For anyone who speaks in tongues does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit.

What's wrong with it? If it is from Jesus, then it is something wonderful. It's just a couple of people worshipping their Lord.
