english help please?

is this a prep. phrase participal phrase or neither? "going on my way"

I think that phrase is a participle. It doesn't begin with a preposition. I looked it up on the internet as it's been a very long time since I studied prep and participles. Go to the source I've listed and maybe that can help.

It depends on where it is in the sentence. At the begining of a sentence, depending on what the sentence was, it would be a prepositional phrase. In most other places in the sentence, as well as quite often even at the begining, it would simply be bad grammar.
