i wanted ( not needed ) to lose all the rest of the baby weight that didn't naturally disappear on it's own. and i became lazy even though i used to be a basketball player...these are some things i tried. it's going to take amazing will power.. truthfully you set a realistic starter goal that is obtainable..just remember what i said about the will power.....good luck to you.

1.always remember that diets that have worked for others may not work for you.

2. take a good look at the things you are eating. if possible..try to eliminate them as much as possible. quittine "cold turkey" will probably lead to temptation.

3. water, water, water,

4. also drink milk ( that's if you are lactose tolerant) yogurt...3 servings a day of dairy products.

5. if you don't exercise now..start off light...go for walk around the block. start for 15 mins and build yourself up. remember to stretch so as not to get a cramp. as you build up your walking time you will also get the urge to start doing light jogs around the block also.

6. eating 6 smaller meals is a good idea...try baked foods like chicken, pork loins, grilled or steamed vegetables, for snacks. as i mentioned before..for snacks, yogurt, almonds, granola bars..eating things that will stave off the "3 o'clock" hunger attacks but won't over fill you.

7. if you have kids, run with them...trust me..those little boogers and all that energy will have you feeling invigorated...my son plays soccer...even with the snow, we go to the local school and sometimes...run an indoor soccer ball around..he gets practice, i get exercise and it's a win/win

8. a support system/ exercise buddy. when you don't feel totally alone..

You need to eat vegatables, try a stir fry and throw in some tofu with that! I've been wanting to try that cause I love tofu in my stir fry when I go out to dinner. For breakfast try eating a power bar and fat free milk. And for lunch I would have a salad loaded with healthy things (tomatos, egg whites, tuna or chicken, imitation crab etc...) Good luck! Are you getting married?? And about the 6 times meals. You need to eat throughout the day, but very small portions. I always heard you have to eat every 4 hours. Well if you eat healthy snacks (lets say almonds) along the way that will hold you off till lunch time. Anyways I hope this helped and good luck.

Cut your carbs (bread, potatoes, white rice, chips things like this) out of your diet. Eat lean meat, fish, chicken, etc. only enough to put into the palm of your hand (portion size). Lot's of vegetables and salads. Fruits moderate. You can eat 3 meals a day not six. If you have the need to snack on something snack on celery or carrot sticks in between meals. I don't know what your tastes are so hard to help you as far as what to eat. This is what I ate morning to night. For breakfast I would eat a 1/2 a cup of grape nuts or specialK and some blue berries on top with skim milk. For lunch I would have a huge salad with celery, cucumbers, what ever you like veggie wise in your salad, and I would use a a fat free dressing. This would fill me up until dinner. At dinner I would have a piece of steak, chicken or fish portion size once again enough to fill the palm of your hand. 3/4 cup of steamed broccoli, and a dinner size salad. 8 oz of skim or fat free milk. Drink plenty of water in between meals. I also try to walk every morning for about 45 min to an hour. Good luck hope this helps.....by the way I dropped 25 lbs., it took me 60 days. And I have kept it off.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

Good LUCK!

First of all, why would you care? Then, if you really do, have a slice of banana for breakfast plus some yugurt. Have some light food no matter what for lunch! Forget about KFC and Fries, or in general fattening foods. And for dinner, have fruits, just fruits. Fruits never make you fat. You can have an apple, an orange, or any other types of fruits you like. Keep in mind, its definitely hard for the first couple of days but you will get used to it eventually. Good luck to you buddy

Here's the only 'diet plan' that really works:

1. Eat less, and eat healthier meals (cut out sugar, desserts, soda)
2. Exercise regularly (walking doesn't count)
Everything else is just hype & false hope. Good Luck.

Eat protein with every meal. Make sure to eat breakfast since 80% of fat people skip breakfast regularly while 80% of skinny and lean people eat a good breakfast regularly. I found this article for an "abs diet" that could be helpful to you as well.

Exercise for at least 30mins every day and drink water in between breaks. Instead of eating chips for snack eat celery or apples. Apples help because they are first, healthy for you, and they keep you full for a few hours. Eat breakfast every day. I suggest instead of bacon and eggs eat a piece of fruit or cereal bar. Good luck!
