Theist not exactly Christian, but I did walk a mile in the shoes of an Atheist, more than a mile, years of miles, I don't feel I have the need to do so again. But.....I have understanding of both sides of the fence

Sho-Nuff, the issue for me is that I would have to deny Christ by doing so and that is something as Christians, we are NOT to do.

If you are asking that we show compassion and understanding, you might be interested to know that is one reason why we come on here.

Would you be willing to walk a mile in the mocassins of a Christian by any chance? If so, what do you think those shoes would be like?

God has given me a pair of beautiful and durable shoes. I never think of finding any another shoes, so I would never walk a mile in the shoes of an atheist.

Why would I want to? Would you walk 1/2 mile in the shoes of a Christian?
Walking a mile in the shoes of an atheist would mean denying my Christ and that I will not do
I have tried to understand the atheist and the reasons they believe as they do but so far nothing makes sense to me. All they do is call me names, and tell me I've been brainwashed.
I have no desire to walk in the shoes of an unbeliever I don't believe Christ would bless me for doing that. I want to be able to tell people about Christ, not pretend that I don't know him.
So I guess the answer to your question for me is an abolute NO

I've walked a plenty of miles for the unbeliever from my immediate family to friends by loving them right where they are at and when their lives fall apart being there to.
I wish I could pour the truth down you guys sometimes but just keep on loving you in spite of what you think.

I walked 25 years in them. There were at least a few miles there I would say.

I don't believe I could. Not knowing anything about the future, believing in nothing but my own ability.

Why, are your lives that incredibly different? Other then not going to church (which I don't do either) I can't imagine it being an eye opener. I understand your point of view, living your life wouldn't help.
