Diets don't help people to loose weight. When someone goes on a diet, they are typically only waching what they are eating for a month or two. Once the diet has been broken, they are back to square one.
The best way to loose weight is by makeing permanant changes to your lifestyle. They don't have to be as big as "never eating a carb again." Simple changes can do a make a great deal of difference, without feeling the constraints of typical dieting, (which lead to breakng the diet and overeating from the guilt)
There are a few very simple foods to elimintate, the will not have that big of an impact on day to day eating habits, but will encourage weight loss.
1) eliminate sugary drinks - including Sodas. If you must drink a soda, go diet. Sugary drinks add empty calories to your diet. Each can 16 oz bottle has approximately 200 calories.
2) eliminate mayonaise and extra butter. If you are having toast in the moring, try jelly instead of butter. Each one table spoon of mayonise and butter contains more than enough fat you body requires for the day.
3) Eliminate red meats. Instead go with leaner meats like chicken and turkey.
4) Increase your fruits and vegetalbe intakes. Instead of raching for greasy potato chips, for for a bag of mini carrots or an apple. They will help your friend to feel full, but not overdose her with un necessary fats and calories.
5) If your firend has an uncontrollable need for an "unhealthy snack like potato chips or ice cream, choose the fat free options. The Lite potato chips and doritios, taste pretty good and fat free ice cream not only tastes good, but has alot of viatmins.
6) FAT FREE YOUGURT IS YOUR FRIEND. Yogurt is high in calcium, which has proven to lower body fat and increase lean muscle with exercize.
Help your friend to find a type of physical activity he/she enjoys. Try sports, rollerblading (really good for your legs and abs, hiking, running (good for your body all around).
If he.she is intimidated by public workouts, try the Windsor Pilates series at home. I have done these and they are amazing. They aren't that difficult at all, and you see results quickly. Three are also a lot of other great work out tapes, look in to Karen Voight, or for the more mainstream, the Carmen Electra workouts are also very good.
If she follows these tips, the weight should start coming off at a healthy rate, and stay off (it did for me). I highly recommend staying away from designer diets like the Atkins or South Beach. They are difficult to stick to, and once you are off them, the weight comes right back.
I wish your friend the best of luck!.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
A sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.

Lab blocks are tremendous, yet there is extra nutrition that you could use. you should use hamster, gerbil etc. blocks, seeds, vegetables, cheerios(no longer honey nut), bread, nuts, highly a lot something. many human beings use hand-crafted diets, yet lab blocks are sturdy as a significant nutrition plan, with some seeds and vegetables on occasion. also, this may be off topic, yet to outstanding guy, F uk YOU. You of course do no longer know what you're talking about. you imagine we would want to continually positioned pets into bags and drown them?! Get the f uk out of the puppy section. you at the on the spot are not in advantageous condition to be a puppy proprietor.

One, don't go overboard and get anorexic--its both unattractive and unhealthy. The best look that almost everybody appreciates is a healthy look and that means good nutrition--not "no" nutrition. So cut down on fats and sugar...very little butter or margarine, avoid fried foods, avoid cokes and pepsis and drink fruit juice instead. White flour is fattening, avoid pasta. Eat lots of veggies and whole carbohydrates like whole wheat bread or whole wheat pasta and brown rice. Exercise, too, that burns a lot of calories and definitely makes the body more attractive. Getting a sport is good, its a fun way to burn calories and gives you a focus outside yourself. There are lots--tennis, swimming, badminton, basketball, track, dance, and its fun, too.

The only true diet that works is cutting calories and exercizing. Stay away from pop candy and fast food.

The best thing to do is replace sugar foods with green foods.
Do it slowly if you want and watch the weight fall off.
