I just purchased a new break controller for our camper. The Chilton manual nor the instructions show a diagram for the factory connecting plug. The controller came with a plug designed for the F-150 but did not mention where the mate to it is located.

Fordman is pretty much correct.. there is a 6 wire plug that is under the dash right next to another black plug in... it's pretty much in line with the gas pedal but is tucked under the dash and is grey colored and looks just like the one that your controller supposedly has.

Under the dash. Is there a plug with no connections on it around the break pedal?
