I believe that in Montana, or another of those upper-midwest states, the speed limit is not really a limit at all. It is a suggested highway speed. So you can exceed it if you wish. That's the closest thing I can think of.

yes, heading down i-5, towards oregon theres about a 50 mile staright away, and they put the speed limit at 95mph, and then a lane for less experienced drivers, that should only go 70mph.

There are parts in the nevada dessert where there is no signs or speed limit...I hit 130 mph for about two hours once....

There are no Canadian HWY's with an allowable speed of 160kmh. Only race tracks
