I think the first thing you should do is introduce them to each other in neutral territory (aka, a room neither of them feel territorial of). See how they get along there. If your Amazon's eyes pin, and tail feathers flare, be cautious. See how they interact outside of the cage first.
It may take a long time to get them used to each other, and your Amazon could do a lot of damage to your cockatiel with one bite.
It's mating season right now, so Amazons (especially males) will tend to be more hormonal and aggressive.
It's the general rule of thumb not to put two different species together in a cage, but maybe you can eventually put them on a playgym together and they can interact there.

Do they seem agitated by each other? if not, then just let them out of their cages (supervised ofcourse) and see what happens. if there is tension then seperate them. if not, then watch them . Let them be together every day like this and see what happens when they start exploring each others cages. does one get agressive if the other goes in the other ones cage? if not then put them together in a cage, supervised for an hour or so to see how it goes. I have a Female lesser sulfer crested cockatoo, Female Cockatiel, and a Male parakeet that get along fine when they are out. They go in each others cages and it,s fine. ( shut the cage door and it's a problem) The "too" has to be caged seperately. The "tiel" and parakeet live together. The parakeet grooms the tiel. it's funny to see.

Absolutely not - don't even consider it! Amazons are well known to have rapid mood swings when they are in breeding season, its their nature, and you are likely to have at best a maimed cockatiel, at worst, a dead one. Whereas the worst thing that would happen to the amazon is that it would be preened, snuggled and loved to death by the cockatiel .... no matter how adorable and loving your birds are separately, and even when you are supervising them, you can never rely on them to remain that way 100% of the time, which you would need to do, should you decide to cage them together. Don't do it!

do not leave them alone during night and then behaviors would be opening beak and staring at each other also if they seem tense and stay at separate sides of cage for more then 10 min that is a sign that it dose not work. and over all cockatails and amazons are know to fight and it is NOT even a good idea to try to combined cages for the safety of your birds
thank you

NO! Amazons are much bigger and more aggressive than cockatiels. they need to be kept separately. that said, if they get out-of-cage-time at the same time of day, just keep an eye on them for aggression.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the amazon got cranky it would only take one bite to kill your cockatiel.
Let their cages be next to each other and let them have SUPERVISED play time, but NEVER cage them together!!!!
Besides, their dietary needs and toy needs are vastly different!!!
