when i reinstalled my acrobat it installed successfully but it is not opening..it says "acrobat had encountered problem and needs to close.. sorry for inconvienience"..i removed and reinstalled it 4 times..i think i have som probs vth its registry keys or else some thing else..can anyone help to make it ouit solved..plzzzzzz

It may be a driver problem with the re-install you did of your OS (XP?).

Have you installed: all the motherboard drivers, video drivers, printer drivers, etc.? What version of Acrobat Reader are you using?

If you did all the above, try un-installing Acrobat Reader and go to Oldversion.com and download Acrobat Reader Version 5.05 and install it. It is IMHO the last stable and reliable version.

I recommend u to install the Acrobat from the other installer. U may be installing it from the stub which may have been linked with the previous OS. So get a new one Acrobat reader 7.0 from here

I would suggest you download the latest version of Acrobat Reader and install updated drivers for your system.

this problem generally happens with 98 for latest version of adobe reader.
driver problem also may be responsible for that .
better you use xp with service pack 2. & if your s/w has corrupted go for new one , you can also download from some education sites or any other .

is not or OS problem...is the adobe acrobat reader software...ur software might be corrupted...try to download a new software...
this thing happen to me once...
