Yes, God does become angry - and for good reason. His creation has worshipped what was created, rather than the Creator. In the past and present, people conjur up their own imaginery gods. A blatant slap in the face to God.
In our thoughts and deeds - we more often than not, fail God. He knew we would. Therefore, He sent His son, Jesus Christ to accept the punishment of our sins by dying on the cross. After being risen from the dead - Jesus claimed victory over death and sin. So now, when God sees us, He sees the blood of Jesus that covers us instead of our blemished sins.

Yes, he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah except for Lot and his family because they were so sinful, Lot even tried to bargain with God that if he could find at least ten people who were good, but there wasn't even ten people that were good. God will only hold back his wrath for so long before he comes again to destroy the wicked.

Yes of course God can get mad. What do you think he was smiling when he kicked Adam and Eve out of the Garden, flooded the world, Brought all those plagues on Egypt, Destroyed Sodomy and Gonorrhea. I think he was pissed.

He destroyed the world of mankind once because he regretted making it.
He has had individuals killed because they failed to please him.
He dropped the Jews because he got tired of them not obeying him.
(That's where Jesus came in with Christianity..........)
Even some hymns carry the verse......(kiss the son lest God be angry and you be lost in the way) my wording here.
Yes God has been angry, and his wrath is yet to be seen when he destroys this world we live in, to make it decent for his followers........
What do you think the so called Rapture is all about?
According to my bible, it is the destruction of evil ones who will not be taught the truth.
Resist God and die.

Yes!! Look what Jesus did to the money changers at the temple. The difference is that God's anger is righteous anger.
