If anyone gives you a remote controled toy car, can you find the operating frequency of that remote circuit ? the frequency is not given in the cover or in the mannual,etc.

It's probably 27 Mhz, or perhaps 49 Mhz.

If you have a scanner, you can turn on the remoe, and push one of the controls. Have the scanner scan 27 - 28 and 49 - 50 MHz, and listen for the signal.

The frequency should be on it somewhere. If not, you can open the device and check the markings on the crystal. There's a link below to show you what it should look like.

The markings will typically be in MHz.
