We have forgotten the true meaning of pancake day - it is about the love of pancakes and thier deliciousness!
I celebrate pancakes in my heart (and my belly) every day and I urge you to do the same!
And lemon and sugar is my favourite :D

Not just on Shrove Tuesday!! I love butter and maple syrup on mine.
No need for the food police to say this is wrong, cos I like them - so there!!
Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday. It was meant as a way of using up all dairy products (pancakes) and meat (stews) from the pantry in lieu of Lent.

Why not sounds good to me. IN Georgia there is the Ant Festival, the Pig Festival, the Donkey Festival, the Pigjig Festival...if Georgia has a name for it they log on. Georgia has got to be one of the most fricked up States out the 50 States we have.
