yes christians DO force their beliefs on others. example? Gay marriage. If you don't understand how that is denying someone of their rights, I'll add more here.

As an atheist, should that ever happen, I'd laugh so hard. So damn hard. So freakin' hard. I'd just laugh and laugh and then I'd point and laugh and laugh some more. Then I'd, you know, move to a country where Islamic law isn't being enforced.

But I'd laugh first.

Christians ARE forced to live under Islamic laws or be persecuted. The prime example is Saudi Arabia and quite a few other Middle Eastern countries.

Get your facts straight!

Ummm, no, we don't force anyone to live under christian law. That's why there's a seperation of church and state. Islam, on the other hand, does force their belief and their laws on other nations. If you don't know that, check out what they've been doing in Africa, that whole "convert or die" thing they have going on, wiping out entire villages who won't play along, yet you have the nerve to sit there in your ivory tower and say we're forcing our beliefs? Darlin, you really need to keep up with what's going on in the world. You could start with reading the world news.

True Christians don't force anything o anyone. If the whole word were forced to live under Islamic law, it wouldn't matter because the real love of Jesus is carried in out hearts. No one can ever take that away from a true Christian!

Christians have not forced their beliefs on me. I do not have to fear that the Lutherans or Methodists will chop my head off on video if I don't agree with them.
How would I respond to being forced to live under Islamic law? Violently, that's how. Don't try it. At least don't try it in America where a LOT of people own weapons and are fiercely independent and protective of their freedoms.

Some do now. It is very hard on Christians but they have a mission greater than any Muslims who prosecute them. Eventually the Christians will win out they always have. If they are martyred others will take their place. Christians will never be defeated in the end all religion will be trampled under their feet. They will wipe their feet on it and go on about the Lords business.

There is no way for a Christian to "force" their beliefs on you. You either believe it or you don't. You are not forced to go to church. You are not forced to pray. You are not forced into the baptistry. However, Christians have every right and a responsibility to use their beliefs as a guide when voting. You cast your vote based on what you believe to be the right or wrong choices, so please give Christians the same option. Or do you just believe in freedom for those who think as you do?

Well i don't know if it's the same thing but my Aunt's husband and his entire family were basically forced out of their native Jordan because being Catholic, they recieved death threats and feared for their lives. At the same time, when they moved to the US, they had to change their names because no one would give them jobs and people accused them of being terrorists, even though they insisted they were Catholic refugees. And all this was WAY before 9-11, like back in the 90's when the first car bombings occured.

I dont think we should live under any law governed by religion.

Though Surah 4:34... I can understand that (sarcasm).
Im pretty sure more then just Christians would not want to be governed by Islamic Law.
