I'd like a smallish design somewhere that isn't TOO visible.. ie, not on my upper arm, for instance. And I'd like it to be unique, maybe something or someplace different. Any suggestions?

It depends on how hidden yo want your tattoo to be.....
There is innovation in UV tattoo ink ...which looks practically invisible to the naked eye , but under blacklight it will illuminate . Theres something sexy about getting a heart , or cherries , or lips on the hip( just above the round of your bottom,) then surprising your partner by buying black-light bulbs . They think you're setting the mood... but you know you're revealing your secret . It's fun .
as for secret places ....there is the aforementioned spot , the back of th neck , high near the hairline , the back of the thigh , high near the buttocks ...it all depends on YOU.

Defenantly the hip it's the perfect place for a small tattoo
or you could do a paw print or like a pink bow or a music note
a girl on Miami ink got cups cakes
do what makes you happy here are some idea's

A heart tat. High and just to the outside of your left butt cheek. Doesn't get much hotter, or hidden than that.

What about a tiny tattoo on the back of your neck, just below the hairline? Something sweet & feminine.
My friend has a wee daisy there & it's adorable...and easy to cover.

I like Small tattoos as well I have two one on my ankle and one on my bra line on the front of me. I love the one on the front on my upper chest. Its hidden and cute. I say go with your astrology sign or something. Go to google images and type stuff in that you like, they have all kind of pic's. Good luck

I would do a tiger maybe on your ankle or part of your front/back that isn't seen very often. But I would assume lots of pple like tigers lol! Maybe something that isn't real common, like something you have a big interest in.

If you're "hot" then I think a cool tat would be to get Boris Vallejo's autograph on the top of your foot and then get the tat artist to make it permanent.

you can put a cute fairy or pixie, just right below your navel. Or a nice butterfly on your bum. Even a Flower on your upper thigh near to your hip

when I was thinking about mine I considered a four leaf clover, outline of a star on my foot (right underneath the big toe)
