Is this saying true? If you love someone you let them go, if they come back than it was meant to be. If so please explain.

That depends. I would have to say yes, but they may not come back as soon as you'd like. My husband never gave up on us getting back together. We went out from 16-18 and then I ended it (for numerous reasons). He kept wanting to get back together every time he saw me which only made me run more. Finanally, ten years later, we made the decision to put all feelings aside and just be friends and things finally just clicked for us. We've been married now for a year and have a beautiful baby boy!

There is a saying - absence makes the heart grow fonder. If the wind blows a weak fire, it goes out. If wind blows a strong fire, the fire becomes much stronger. If the bonds are strong, you could let go and they will return. Now, the real question is, do you have so much control as you can "let" them go? Where are they going and why do they want to leave. If your ties are purely emotional and not founded in principles, you may find there is no tie. If you are holding by plea, or by threat, you don't have a tie anyway. Good luck.

Not really. Most times, they never come back.
It is your actions that determines if they come back or not. Letting them go and hoping they'll come back is just wishful thinking. Sitting around waiting for them to come back just never works. If you really love someone, pursue them to the ends of the earth I say. Else you may end up spending a lifetime waiting for something that will never happen. Never leave it to chance if you really love someone - you stand to lose the love of your life. Pursue them and let come what may fall into place - good or bad. You never know unless you tried.

Its basically saying that if you really love someone then you will allow them to have the freedom they need in whatever aspect and to do what they need to do. If they come back to you then its meant to be because you are the person for them and perhaps they needed the freedom to appreciate this. Hope that makes sense!

When you are around that person that you love they forget and become to comfortable that you will not leave them vice verse.. Sometimes we forget and lose sight of our feelings due to small insignificant problems such as the persons habits personality.. Once they are out of your life, you begin to think about many of the positive things. You begin to ask questions such as why they left what went wrong what went right.. The tricky part of this is you don't know if the other person is taking the time as well to think about these things.. The hardest part is uknow and the anxiety... Is it true? Yes, i have seen it happen hundreds of times... But it takes time months perhaps years but it does happen. When it does the question is are you willing!

It's an old wives tale. I've let several ex-boyfriends go, they come back, we try to work things out, the relationship still doesn't work. It all depends on you and the relationship you have with that other person. Sometimes it's worth letting this person go especially if the relationship is bringing you down. Sometimes it's worth hanging onto because this person your with is just wonderful.

This really depends on the situation... Loving someone does not necessarily have to be with the person. As long as he's happy... That's more than enough. And who knows, the act of your generosity, someone better will turn up in your life... Good luck!

I personally think it's true. I fell deeply in love with my man before and we split up because of family problems, months later we got together and have been together ever since. So if you love someone and things happen that seperate you two then let him go, besides if it was meant to be for you guys to be together it will be so just be patient. : )

this is actual. And right this is what I advise via this is actual; All it incredibly is gold would not glitter, no longer all people who wander are lost; The previous it incredibly is physically powerful would not wither, Deep roots are no longer reached via the frost. From the ashes a hearth would be woken, a mild from the shadows shall spring; Renewed would be blade that replaced into broken, The crownless back would be king. this might from the Lord Of The jewelry besides the undeniable fact that this is actual in actual life too!

I agree, but it depends on every person and individual relationship.
Sometimes people leave or we let people go to find themselves or whatever it is that they are looking for, and sometimes they come back into our lives making that relationship stronger than ever, time and fate is what I think this saying goes on!!
