You should feed your puppy a nutritionally complete "puppy" food. Feel free to give him treats, including meat, in moderation, but always supervise your dog when giving treats.

You can feed the dog meat any time. Make sure that you're choosing a large variety of protein sources along with a large variety of body parts including some organ meat. For more information try www.rawfed.com

Are you talking about feeding them nothing but meat? If you give a dog like a pitbull meat like steak all the time, it will make them mean. I don't feed my dog any meat unless it is a little bacon here and there, Or some left overs. But, if the dog is under a year old, you should feed them puppy food because they need the right amount of nutrients to grow right and be healthy.

If they are over 3 months you can feed them meat, but don't make it all meat. Make sure you use a good mixer with the meat.

Don't be tempted to give them bones - it won't do them any good! You can buy chews for them, because they will start teething soon!

Your dog should mainly be eating a nutritionally balanced dog food. meat can be given in small doses as a treat but straying off the main dog food can cause digestive problems.

Your pup should be eating meat already, what have you been feeding so far? pups can eat raw meat (if that's what you mean) right from weaning they usually get what is called shaved meat ie.very small pieces, so you can feed meat now.

The barf diet or the bones and raw food diet can be fed to dogs of any age.
You need to be sure you are feeding things other than meat and that they are getting all the nutrition they need.

A dog of any age can be fed the raw/barf diet. Keep in mind you will also need to feed bone and organ meats to keep the diet balanced. Visit www.barfworld.com for info on the RAW/BARF diet.
