Yes, it's true that some people can only grow their hair to a certain length. Everyone's hair goes through a growth phase, a resting phase and then finally, falls out to be replaced by a new hair. You may just have a short growing phase. As long as you're taking good care of your hair, try not to worry about it. Also, keep in mind that hair only grows on average 1/2 inch each month. If you're getting more than that cut off, it may seem like you're hair isn't growing. Tell your stylist you're trying to grow it out, so you only want the minimum amount off your ends to get rid of any splits. It's ok to go 8-10 between trims if you want to grow your hair.

Listen jus do what i say ok if ur a male or female.First off cut 1inch or half of an inch of hair every three months. Now since,u style with products that over process ur hair u must use something to protect it.Especially ur hair ends! Now u need to use a hair mask twice a month.Or deep condition it every week.DO NOT WASH UR HAIR SO MUCH it drys the hair cuticles, then breaks. And the dirt in ur hair will orotect ur hair from the sun and harsh pollutants. Now unles u do sports then u wash twice a week.ONLY APPLY hair creams in ur hair so it can breathe unless u use oil which should only be in the winter and fall. Put grease (hair foood hemp )in ur scalp wrap up ur hair at nite style daily. This should help!Ithink though u cut too much and ur hair is over processed.Use unscented garlic shampoo&conditioner as well as a expense hair mask and deep conditioner.Vita pointe hair cream is good.

My hair grows really fast. It used to be tooooo long. But I have heard that if you are very careful with your hair and don't dry it out or tug on it too much. Try not to twist your hair or squeeze and pull when drying, and switch days when in and out of a tight hairdoo. Try not to do so much fancy stuff with it that might hurt it. I'm sure you will get much better answers than I can give you, but thats my best shot. Good luck!

Quit getting regular hair cuts and start getting occasional trims.
