6 months ago I met my friend...at the time he was only an acquaintance, but today he is a very special friend. We have lots of things in common and really strong connection. I never realized that our friendship would come to this level. He has made several comments about how beautiful or intelligent I am. We have gotten really close and I enjoy being his friend. The other day we were talking about something and I said “are you my twin brother?" and he said “lol...I hope not", and I asked him” ohh why not?" He was like “some things are better left unsaid"- in a positive way
So what does he really mean?

Hmm... Sounds like he likes you but he's a little shy about making his move. Give him a little encouragement, or better yet, make the move yourself. Tell him you like him!

It sounds like he wants to be more than your brother and he cannot do that as a brother.
Just let things happen as they are. My wife and I became best friends before we dated. It was a wonderful time and it is only getting better. We have now been married for four years.

Simple. If he doesn't wants to be your brother... he clearly likes you. He has feelings for you, but it is sometimes difficult for a person to express them when they don't know how the other person feels. So don't push him, but if you like him let him notice you do.

He likes you...and not in a brother kind of way! It seems that he just hasn't gotten the nerve to tell you how he feels! :)

i think it means that he does really like you...
because if you were his twin brother than that wouldnt be good to like you. go for him if you have that much in common
i dont think you should take it too seriously because its just something he said.

i think that means he likes u and plans on makin a move but dnt rush him or pressure him into anything. i think he reallly likes u.
