Your County Health Department has a Mental Health Department. They can help you get through stuff. They have counselors to talk to and they can evaluate your condition. You should be able to find their number in you phone book under the government directory or call information and ask for your county health department.

They helped me a lot when my father was diagnosed with dementia and onset of Alzheimer's disease and after he died. And they don't charge anything.

Good luck.

You need to get in touch with your County Health Dept. There are always places you can go to to. Or call a hot line for depression and mental issues they can help you find somewhere to help you. You need to do this immediately. Hot lines are open 24/7. Sleeping it away won't help it will still be there when you wake up. And don't listen to these idiots telling you not to see a Dr. Mental health is a serious issue and meditating or reading a damn book isn't what you need right now.
Please find some help

There is a website www.nami.org. In the middle of that page is help and support. NAMI-national alliance for mental illness refers and advocates for people suffering from mental illness. Get help and begin to enjoy life. If you are feeling in danger call 911 immediately. It is free and they WILL get you the help you need RIGHT now. Be nice to yourself. Go see a professional immediately. Money should not be an issue when it comes to a person's well being and it isn't in this country.

I don't know what state you are in, but in my state(Calif), there's a phne number for Crisis Counseling; probably an "800" or local number to dial. I am sure whoever answers the phne will be able to direct you to free or very low cost, based on your income counseling. Good Luck..

County health department is low cost and sometimes free. Depending on your status if you are a student there are counseling centers at just about every school and they have free sessions up to six. It is not bad to talk to someone about what is going on.

If you are not comfortable with A DR, go to church to talk to a preacher, thats what I did. PRAYER SEEMS TO BE VERY COMFORTING, it helps you to get started, with a DR eventually.
