my hair is a really dark brown almost black i need help with what color i should dye my hair

Whatever color you go with will probably not show as much as if your hair was lighter. I had the same color of hair and I went with highlights and I get them done every 8 weeks and my hair is getting lighter and lighter and now I can actually pick a color and it will actually show.

If I had your haircolor, I would leave it alone, it sounds very pretty, I used to dye mine your color when I was a teen, im 60 now, I was a natural red/auburn color, it seems we are never happy with our own natural self, that is what really needs to be dealt with. But, if you are determined to color, go with a brand that is water based, with plenty of conditioning, it is also, important to consider your skin tone, and one more point, you might try asking a hairstylist, about what color to use, since your hair is so dark, you could get an unhappy result.

For me the hair color of the moment is red. I just love it.
I have native American and Italian background, so this hair color doesn't match my features, neither my skin tone, but I would love to be able to go red head once in while. I look fine on blond, but I 've been told, by professionals, not to try to go red.

DONT DIE IT!. Dying hair really screwes with your hair trust me i would know my mom did it and well its not the greatest you said you have dark brown hair so go for a light brown highlights. it will look abslotley awesome on you!!.

Bleach some streaks and keep them blonde or possibly dye them red or auburn in the front. Experiment with haircuts to change things up too.

it all depend on your skin color, if you have light brown skin color dye your blonde
