I see where you are going with these questions sir. McCallum was a great fighter who would have held his own or beaten many of these guys you mentioned on here. However I feel that he was just a notch below their greatness, McCallum would have been a tough fight for Leonard because of his size and body punching ability but I believe that Leonard was too fast and too clever for him. Leonard seemed to adapt to another fighters style very effectively and would have frustrated McCallum especially with his hand speed and dazzling combinations. I pick Leonard by unanimous decision. Good question sir!

Gotta go with the speed of Leonard over the power of McCallum. Mike could have given Leonard trouble with body shots, and maybe slowed him enough to get to him, but I think if Ray stopped running and stood and slugged with McCallum, Ray's hand speed would have got to McCallum as well.

Ray Leonard by lopsided decision.

I was not a Leonard fan. I got tired of all the early fawning over the media darling & I thought Hagler should have gotten at worst a draw against him. And Leonard was given a gift draw at super middle against Hearns. That said, I say Leonard beats McCallum. Too many overall skills for McCallum to handle.

Oh COME ON. If Kalambay could whip McCallum; Sugar Ray Leonard would win all 15 rounds.

i think of i discussed on yet another McCallum question you asked that he had difficulty with rapid palms and sturdy movers like Jones and Toney. Leonard is amazingly rapid and had some astonishing footwork, and at 154 he became into close adequate to his 147 appropriate. flow and velocity it too lots. McCallum can not look to get off, Leonard is only too rapid to time and counter. UD15 Sugar Ray Leonard
