Who said I do?
Love is an emotion that requires familiarity. I'm not familiar with every single human ever born or ever will be born. Thus I cannot love the group.
I love those I know, and I reasonably expect I'd love all I will ever meet. But I cannot love that which I do not know, such a thing is a human-invented concept to try to make himself better than he is. It's a noble thought, but sadly one of the many elevating falsehoods man holds to desperately to pretend that he is more than he is.

Humanity is mans greatest mystery, he is fascinated by it because he can not reason or comprehend mans creation, he seeks factual answers that he will never get, so to justify mans creation he comes up with all the wrong reasons of how, why, and when, because all the answers he dose get become questions, and that is why I love humanity.

Wow, that first answer is a shocker, especially since you, Digilook, are one of the nicest people here. I always seek out your questions, although I rarely answer them.
I guess my love of humanity comes from the fact that even though there are people like the first poster who can take rudeness to new heights, there are some like you who brighten our days. That's enough for me.

Because, from my experience in life, people are stupid, cold-hearted, selfish, immature, and power-hungry. Mankind is nothing more than little kids who never grew up. Someone has to be a role model. Someone has to give love to those who don't know how to love their fellow man. Someone has to teach others "Do unto others what you would have done unto you", instead of the common Satanic teaching "Do unto others before they do unto you".
This world will never improve, until everyone can love their neighbors like they love themselves.

Humanity is one family. We are the same. If you hate people, or a group of people, carry that in your heart, you will be miserable and you will never know true inner peace.

It is much easier than hating everyone. War sucks. God is Love. Peace is good. We are all pretty much the same anyway. I like being happy. Love is stronger than hate. These are my favorite reasons. Peace through mutual understanding.
