I didn't, but a friend of mine did.
Her destination wedding was on a Carnival Cruise Ship to Jamaica! It was totally awesome. And everyone in the Bridal party felt like celebrities cause that's how they treated us! She did pay a lot, but she and her husband, say it was totally worth it. And I agree. I got a cruise and was able to be in my friends wedding.....on in island in Jamaica. How hot is that!!!!
And they got to honeymoon there and back on the cruise ship.
Try Carnival websites if this interests you at all.
Hope this helped!
And congrats on the upcoming wedding. Have fun, and don't stress!

My sister did and I am in July. It is the best way to go b/c the wedding, reception, and honeymoon are all there. For example, if you pick an all-inclusive resort, which I suggest b/c you get everything, all drinks, decorations, cake, flowers, some pics, dinner all included. So many more features and perks to have a destination wedding. If your family can afford it and some friends it is even better. Everything you do back in your home town is going to cost you a bunch. This is one flat fee and you don't have to have a wedding for show and be broke the rest of your life.

Newport RI is superb around that factor of 12 months (nearer to October particularly than November). You get the water perspectives, fall foliage, and New England type castles. while you're already from the Northeast, try some thing else to make your trip spot wedding ceremony relatively surely worth the trip! have relaxing!

It has been my experience that when you contact the resort or place you want to have your wedding, they usually have some one there or can put you in touch with a wedding planner to help you plan your ceremony.I know that the resorts in the British Virgin Islands do that.

I am having one of these in the Domincan Republic.
Just start googling wedding packages at the places you potentially want to marry at. Most of the time you book through a travel agent. :) GOOD LUCK
